Jill founded Synergy Enterprises in 2008 after completing her studies in biology, driven by a passion for mobilizing business, industry, and communities toward a low-carbon future. A recognized leader in sustainable business and economic development, she has spent the past 18 years building and leading a multidisciplinary team that supports governments, airports, transportation operators, and industry partners in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, developing climate action plans, and navigating complex policy environments. In 2013, Jill launched the Synergy Foundation, where she serves as Executive Director while continuing her role as CEO of Synergy Enterprises. She is actively involved in expanding the Foundation’s initiatives and advancing community-based sustainability and resilience projects.
An accomplished writer and speaker with three published books, Jill is a frequent voice in the sustainability space. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Vancouver Island and the West Coast – fishing, camping, hiking, and adventuring with her chocolate lab.
